Beyonce’s hometown of Houston, Texas plans to build a monument in honor of the superstar recognising all her hard work and success.
The city has teamed up with marketing company, Armdeonce Ventures, as well as corporate sponsors and private donors, to complete and unveil the project by year end. In return, each donor and corporate sponsor will have their name etched onto the monument, and receive an invitation to the unveiling ceremony and celebration event.
Proceeds from the statue will go towards charitable causes, including donations to Hurricane Katrina victims and flooding victims in the states of Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi.
